Reese stayed physical, moved her feet and fought for position against a player nearly a full foot taller.
She tried to defend without reaching or committing a foul, but the intense battle beneath the basket eventually ended with a whistle.
The two plays captured different sides of Team USA’s dominant World Cup opener. Clark finished with 14 points and 11 assists as the United States defeated China 94-61, beginning the tournament with a commanding 33-point victory.
