Cam Hazzard, a 21-year-old, 1.88-meter-tall college student, was crowned champion of the first edition of Dunkman Official, the first world dunk competition, sponsored by Shaquille O"Neal.

The young winner took the title thanks to jaw-dropping moves such as one in which he slammed it home after spinning 360 degrees and passing the ball between his legs. A dunk worthy of the NBA contest and one that would have given Mac McClung, a three-time winner who recently signed for FIATC Girona, a run for his money.

Hazzard, who has received a $500,000 prize, has specialized in dunking since a few years ago he suffered a hamstring injury and hit a growth spurt that allows him to reach the rim more easily. Self-taught, a video made him go viral in 2025 and earned him an invitation to a Jumpman 23 event in London, organized by Jordan Brand.

His arrival at the Dunkman competition also came through a video. Shaquille O"Neal, the tournament commissioner, saw it and asked for him to be signed. The former player had a good eye. Hazzard is the first champion.
