Delonte West looks almost unrecognizable after dramatic new smile transformation
Former NBA guard Delonte West is showing off a dramatic new look as he celebrates another major step in his recovery.
West revealed his new dental implants during an Instagram Live outside a dental office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The 43-year-old proudly smiled for the camera after previously sharing parts of the procedure with his followers, including the metal posts placed in his gums.
The transformation comes as West celebrates 10 months of sobriety following years of highly publicized struggles with addiction and mental health. The former first-round draft pick played eight NBA seasons with teams including the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks. Fans flooded social media with supportive messages, celebrating both his new smile and the progress behind it.
