Draymond Green has one problem with Steph Curry sacrificing $20 million: Don’t call it ‘only’

Steph Curry accepted approximately $20 million less than the maximum available on his new Warriors extension, but Draymond Green has a problem with anyone minimizing that sacrifice.

Green pushed back at the idea that Curry gave up “only” $20 million, making it clear that an amount that large should never be treated as insignificant, regardless of how much money the person already has.

Curry signed a two-year, $116 million extension instead of the $136.7 million maximum, giving Golden State additional financial flexibility. Green said the decision did not surprise him because Curry has consistently put the team first and remains one of the greatest leaders he has ever played alongside.
