The high from securing Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn't dissipated just yet for Miami Heat fans. After several seasons of hanging around the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference , the Heat decided to make a big splash this offseason.

Giannis certainly qualifies, bringing true superstar pedigree to South Florida. It's fair to wonder how quickly he will acclimate to his new environment, given that he spent the first three seasons of his career in Milwaukee , a completely different city compared to Miami.

Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly buys $13.5 million mansion in Pinecrest

At the least, we already know where Antetokounmpo will settle in with his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger , and their four children. According to The Real Deal real estate news site, Giannis recently purchased a $13.5 million mansion in Pinecrest , a suburban village in Miami that's just south-southwest of Coral Gables and Coconut Grove .

Surprisingly, it's actually not a waterfront property . Most celebrities tend to choose a water view when moving to South Florida, but Giannis is going a different route. The mansion is around 12,000 square feet and features eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool, and a jacuzzi .

Pinecrest is about 35-45 minutes from the Kaseya Center , where the Heat play their home games. Giannis will have some commuting to do for his basketball duties, especially when Miami traffic hits.
