Giannis is Officially a Miamian: New Heat star hides from iguana as he pleads for "exterminator"
Iguanas are prevalent all over South Florida, and Giannis Antetkounmpo has found out the hard way at his new home.

One of the most underrated storylines of the Miami Heat acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks in the offseason has been the Athens -born 31-year-old experiencing living in South Florida for the first time.
Giannis has already started becoming ingrained in the culture, with one of his recent social media posts going viral - a picture of him in a light blue and pink outfit, wearing a fedora and sipping a cafecito . Now, Giannis can say he's become a true Floridian, as he has encountered his first iguana .
Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family go to battle with invading iguana
His new home in the Pinecrest neighborhood was "invaded" by an iguana on Friday. Antetokounmpo shared several videos of him and his family hiding from the intruder. Giannis made mention of potentially calling an "exterminator" to get rid of the reptile. Iguanas are usually harmless, unless fully provoked.
Iguanas are all over South Florida, so Giannis will have to get used to the reptile, especially since it appears his backyard is quite green. With the colder months approaching, Antetokounmpo will likely be stunned once he sees frozen iguanas falling from trees - if it gets cold enough, that is.
