Kyrie Irving goes all-in on his NBA comeback with new sneakers inspired by Macao’s high-stakes world
Two new signature sneakers arrive October 10, turning Kyrie’s anticipated return into a story of patience, calculated moves and refusing to fold

Kyrie Irving’s next move comes with hearts , spades and a message about trusting himself again. The Dallas Mavericks guard’s KAI 3 “Macao Hearts” and KAIBRID “Spades” launch October 10, 2026 , bringing a playing-card theme to his anticipated NBA comeback. Inspired by Macao’s bright lights and high-stakes atmosphere, the collection connects the instincts of a poker player with the creativity of one of basketball’s most unpredictable guards.
The release falls between Dallas’ preseason games against the Houston Rockets at The Venetian Arena on October 9 and 11 . Dallas Sports Journal reported that Irving’s footwear partner, ANTA, said he had been cleared to play without restrictions following his recovery from a torn left ACL. The shoes arrive as Irving prepares to return to NBA competition with the Dallas Mavericks.
Kyrie’s comeback gives “all-in” a meaning beyond the card table
The Spades concept compares Irving’s game to Texas Hold 'Em, a contest of patience, calculation and daring. It is an apt metaphor for a player who can slow a possession, draw a defender into committing and suddenly change direction. After a long recovery, that same patience becomes part of the story behind his return.
The KAIBRID blends design elements from the KAI 1, KAI 2 and KAI 3 , bringing three generations of his signature line into one hybrid silhouette. Its Spades edition combines blue and yellow with gold, bronze and black accents. Spade graphics appear on the tongue and insoles, while pearlized finishes, speckled textures and metallic details reference Macao’s skyline and nightlife.
The KAI 3 Hearts takes a different approach, with fluorescent red over a black base, metallic gold and color-shifting accents. The heart graphic reinforces the card theme, while the red represents Irving’s passion for basketball. These two releases begin a planned four-model Macao collection, with KAI 1 and KAI 2 editions expected in the coming months.
For U.S. shoppers, the buying options matter. KAI 3 Hearts will retail for 135throughANTA.com ,whilelimitedpairsofthe 150 KAIBRID Spades are scheduled exclusively for ANTA’s Beverly Hills flagship store. That exclusivity applies to the U.S. launch: the brand’s Malaysian website also lists Spades for October 10 pickup at its Kuala Lumpur store.
Behind the colors is a performance basketball platform. ANTA’s European product descriptions for other KAI 3 editions list NitroEdge foam cushioning, a carbon-fiber plate and a lightweight, breathable upper , designed to provide support during jumps and quick changes of direction.
Those features describe the broader KAI 3 model; complete specifications for the Macao editions have not been verified, and the KAIBRID’s hybrid design does not establish that it includes every technology from the earlier shoes.
Irving also has a role in shaping the company behind the collection. ANTA appointed him chief creative officer of its basketball division when their partnership was announced in July 2023. His responsibilities include developing products and bringing athletes, artists and other collaborators into the signature line. The relationship gives him influence over the creative direction of the brand he wears.
Fans will have two new pairs to choose from on October 10 . For Irving, the moment means returning to something he has worked toward throughout his recovery: stepping onto the court with his Dallas Mavericks teammates. Behind the bright colors and playing-card symbols of his new signature shoe are months of rehabilitation, determination and dedication, leading to the chance to wear his own design for his long-awaited return to the court.
