Tyrese Maxey had a little extra company at Philadelphia’s Blue x White Scrimmage: his daughter, Marvel. The NBA shared a clip of the guard lifting her up, captioning the moment “Dad duties.”
LeBron James also spent time with Marvel on the bench, adding a family moment to an afternoon devoted to basketball. A father of three himself, James knows what it means to have children around the game.
The October 3 event at Xfinity Mobile Arena gave fans an early look at the Sixers ahead of the season. For Maxey, it also offered a chance to share part of his basketball world with his daughter.
