Luka Doncic sends Lakers fans a scare after taking hard hit in preseason return

Luka Doncic’s long-awaited return to competitive action did not go entirely smoothly as the Lakers star was seen limping after taking a hard hit to his quad during the preseason opener against the Sacramento Kings. The Slovenian guard remained in the game despite the scare, but did not return after halftime with the Lakers holding a comfortable lead. Doncic later played down concerns over his quad, offering some relief after making his first appearance since April following a severe hamstring injury.
