Marcus Smart channels Michael Jackson with slick dance moves at Rockets practice

Marcus Smart has built an NBA reputation on defense, toughness and making life difficult for opposing guards. But the Houston Rockets newcomer showed another side of his game at practice, and it had a distinctly Michael Jackson flavor. Smart broke out his best King of Pop impersonation during a recent Rockets practice, showing off dance moves that quickly caught the attention of fans online. The veteran guard traded his usual defensive intensity for some rhythm, reminding everyone that there is more to his personality than steals, hustle plays and hard-nosed defense. The moment offered a lighthearted glimpse of Houston’s locker-room atmosphere as the Rockets prepare for the 2026-27 NBA season.
