Safaris and dreamlike landscapes: this was the extravagant honeymoon of the Knicks star
The couple celebrated their marriage with a trip to Africa, and Jordyn Woods shared images from an experience she described with a phrase impossible to ignore.

There are trips that are remembered for years and others that begin to be missed even before they come to an end. From what Jordyn Woods said, her honeymoon with Karl-Anthony Towns belongs, without a doubt, to the latter category.
After celebrating their marriage, the couple completely changed the pace of their lives to embark on a getaway that would be hard to forget. Africa was the chosen destination for a honeymoon filled with safaris, spectacular landscapes, and moments away from the world of the NBA and the exposure that normally surrounds the Knicks star.
“A dream I never wanted to wake up from”
Jordyn Woods was the one who decided to share part of the experience with her followers through a video on Instagram. The images showed some of the moments they experienced during the trip, but it was her words that ended up giving the post a special meaning.
“A dream that I didn’t know how to put into words, lived in nature with the love of my life,” wrote Jordyn. The phrase summed up a story they have both built over the years and that began long before they became husband and wife: first they were friends and, over time, that bond ended up turning into a relationship.
There was another phrase that explained even better what the trip meant for the model. “ Our honeymoon was like walking inside a dream I never wanted to wake up from” , she confessed alongside the images of the African adventure.
This trip was a pause after all the journey that led them to the altar. Between the preparations, the ceremony, and the attention that accompanied their marriage, Towns and Woods found the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy something much simpler: being together.
The contrast couldn't have been greater for Towns , either. Accustomed to the intensity of New York and the demands of being one of the Knicks ' stars, the player took advantage of the offseason to trade the arenas and lights of the NBA for the African wilderness.
Before long, it will be time to return to basketball and the routine of a new season. But before heading back to New York, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods gave themselves a memory that, judging by her words, neither of them seemed too eager to leave behind.
