Victor Wembanyama dresses up as iconic video game character for Halloween stadium entrance
Wemby is no longer Slender Man or No-Face, and is now a legendary monster hunter.
Halloween is the perfect time for professional athletes to show a different side of themselves. Fans always see the hard-noses, sports-focused version of athletes, but many of them are just regular people with the same type of hobbies and interests as the masses.
Victor Wembanyama would certainly say that defines him as well. As fans have seen from some of his Halloween costumes, Wemby is a man of culture. He acknowledged the memes made about him for his first epic costume, that of Slender Man in 2023. He followed that up with No-Face (Kaonashi) in 2024.

This year, Wembanyama went in a much different direction, but it was still as epic as the other two. For 2026, Wemby showed up to the stadium on Halloween night decked out as Geralt of Rivia , from the legendary The Witcher fantasy series.
Geralt became famous worldwide following the incredible success and critical acclaim of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , a game published by Polish video game developer CD Projekt Red . Andrzej Sapkowski created Geralt for his The Witcher fantasy novel series, which follows his experiences as a monster-hunting witcher .
Netflix later adapted some of Sapkowski’s books for a TV show, which starred Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. Wemby would simply be too tall to be a real witcher, but he certainly crushed his costume design.
