Angel Reese celebrates FIBA World Cup win by honoring her name

Angel Reese celebrated Team USA’s dominant victory over France in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in a way that perfectly matched her name.

As confetti filled the court to mark the gold-medal win, Reese dropped to the floor and made an “angel” out of the paper pieces around her, enjoying the moment like a little girl living out a childhood dream.

Reese also shared a video on Instagram showing her running to celebrate with her mother, who has been by her side through some of the biggest moments of her basketball career.
