Angel Reese has hilarious NSFW reaction to sex toy thrown on WNBA court
A bizarre interruption gave Reese another unforgettable viral moment

Angel Reese had an unforgettable reaction to one of the strangest moments of the WNBA season during the Atlanta Dream’s 124-88 demolition of the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.
With 2:59 remaining in the third quarter, a neon green sex toy was thrown onto the court as Sparks forward Jihyun Park prepared to shoot free throws. The object landed in front of Park before bouncing across the paint toward Los Angeles’ bench, briefly stopping the action.
Reese , who was sitting near the scorer’s table, appeared to immediately spot the person responsible. She jumped up and pointed toward the stands, repeatedly alerting those nearby and saying, “Right there! Get him!”
Video of the moment quickly went viral, with some lip-readers claiming Reese also made another NSFW comment about the size of the object. That portion of the exchange hasn’t been independently confirmed, but Reese’s animated reaction was certainly hard to miss.
Cameron Brink then kicked the object away before security removed it from the court. Reports indicated the alleged thrower was caught by arena security after Reese helped identify the person.
Reese turned a bizarre interruption into another memorable night
The bizarre incident also brought back memories of similar disruptions during the 2025 WNBA season. Sex toys were thrown onto the court during multiple games, including matchups involving the Dream, Golden State Valkyries and Chicago Sky.
The incidents eventually faded, but Thursday’s episode showed that the unusual trend hasn’t completely disappeared. However, the interruption was only a footnote in an outstanding individual performance for Reese .
The Atlanta star was perfect from the field, knocking down all nine of her attempts while making both of her three-point attempts. She finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals, recording her 25th double-double of the season.
The performance also made her only the third player in WNBA history to post a 20-point double-double while shooting 100 percent from the floor.
Reese also made history on the offensive glass. Four offensive rebounds during the contest pushed her season total beyond the 172 she recorded in 2024, allowing her to break her own WNBA single-season record. She now has eight regular-season games left to extend the mark even further.
The Dream made history as well, scoring a franchise-record 124 points in the blowout. Rhyne Howard led Atlanta with 26 points, including five three-pointers, while the victory also officially eliminated the Sparks from playoff contention.
While the bizarre object briefly stole attention from the basketball, Reese made sure the lasting story from Los Angeles was her spectacular performance. Between a perfect shooting night, another record and a viral reaction from the bench, it was certainly a game she won't soon forget.
