Angel Reese receives a hero’s welcome as she returns to LSU

Angel Reese returned to LSU to a standing ovation, reuniting with head coach Kim Mulkey and receiving a hero’s welcome from the school where she became a national champion. Although her WNBA season ended without a title after falling to the Golden State Valkyries, the Tigers faithful celebrated her achievements and crowned her the Queen of the South. During her two seasons in Baton Rouge, Reese helped LSU post a 65-8 record, win a national championship and reach the Elite Eight, while averaging 20.9 points and 14.4 rebounds per game. Now, with her season over, Reese plans to spend the offseason in Florida, focusing on her personal life, fitness and brand while stepping away from podcasting.
