Angel Reese’s simple striped look shows off her legs, but her Game 4 walk is pure star power

Reese arrives in a fitted, wine-and-rose striped two-piece and heels, carrying herself with a calm confidence

A ngel Reese’s outfit is more understated than some of the looks she has worn before: a matching two-piece set with thin vertical stripes in reddish and pink tones, a short skirt and heels. But as she walks through the arena hallway, the look becomes secondary to the way she carries herself. Her stride is smooth and unhurried; she seems happy, relaxed and focused.

There is no need for an extravagant entrance. Reese’s height, heels and easy cadence make her presence impossible to miss . She looks completely at home in the Finals spotlight and she arrives with Atlanta just two wins away from its first WNBA championship.

Angel Reese has made every Finals game count

Reese is coming off a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double in Atlanta’s 97-71 win over the Golden State Valkyries in Game 3. She has recorded a double-double in all three games of the Finals: 14 points and 12 rebounds in the opener, 30 points and 16 rebounds in Game 2, and another 21-and-12 performance on Wednesday. She is the youngest player to record double-doubles in three consecutive WNBA Finals games.

Her performances have helped Atlanta turn the series around. The Dream lost the opener, 68-64, but answered with a 79-65 win in Game 2 the first Finals victory in franchise history. They followed it with a 26-point blowout to take a 2-1 lead. The latest win was a team effort, with Rhyne Howard, Naz Hillmon, Isobel Borlase and Jordin Canada joining Reese in double figures.

Atlanta has also taken over the third quarter, outscoring Golden State 63-35 in that period across the first three games. In Game 3, the score was tied at 49 before the Dream pulled away. That surge, along with Reese’s work inside, has made it harder for the Valkyries to find their footing.

The Dream reached the Finals for the first time since 2013 after sweeping the Washington Mystics and New York Liberty. Now they have a chance to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. A win would leave Atlanta one victory from the first title in franchise history; a Valkyries win would tie the series and shift the pressure back to the Dream.

Game 4 tips off Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena, with coverage on NBC and Peacock. Reese’s walk into the arena is composed and carefree, but the opportunity in front of her is enormous: another win would bring Atlanta to the edge of the championship it has been chasing for years.
