Every basketball represents another place from which the Fever stars can punish their opponents

The Indiana Fever found an impressive way to show what Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell are doing together. An animated court fills with basketballs marking the areas from which the two guards attack, transforming their shooting range into a striking visual map.

Some basketballs appear close to the rim, while many others spread across the perimeter and beyond the 3-point line. The image demonstrates the problem facing opposing defenses: Clark and Mitchell can threaten them from almost anywhere on the court.

Clark creates pressure with her extraordinary range, passing and ability to control the offense. Mitchell adds speed, movement without the ball and one of the most consistent scoring touches in the WNBA . Defending one can create the small opening the other needs.

The numbers make the animation even more impressive. Mitchell is averaging 25 points per game and recently tied the WNBA record with 20 consecutive games scoring at least 20 points. Clark is averaging 22.5 points and has already recorded 20 career games with at least 20 points and 10 assists, the most in league history.

Their partnership has helped Indiana produce what the Fever describes as the best offense the WNBA has ever seen. The team has repeatedly surpassed 100 points, while Clark and Mitchell have combined for performances of 60, 67 and even 75 points during the season.

The comparison may invite fans to decide which player has the better shot, but the animation delivers a different answer. Clark’s range and vision make Mitchell more dangerous, while Mitchell’s constant movement creates additional space for Clark . They are not competing for control of the offense they are making each other nearly impossible to stop.
