Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham change the rules with their looks for the home finale
Indiana Fever says goodbye to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the regular season.

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is ready for a special night. Indiana Fever hosts Minnesota Lynx this Tuesday, September 22 , in its final regular-season game in front of its home crowd, just as the season begins to enter its most important stage.
Indiana enters the game with a 27-15 record , sitting fifth in the WNBA and already having secured a playoff spot. The team also boasts the league's highest scoring average, so the final game in Indianapolis comes with much more at stake than simply closing out the home schedule.
And while all of that is starting to take shape on the court, the players also made their mark before the game tipped off. Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham arrived at the home finale in two looks that moved quite far away from their usual formulas .
Caitlin Clark traded jeans for a skirt
Clark often turns to jeans or pants for her arrivals, but this time she went with a completely different silhouette.
The player appeared in a black mini skirt, a gray sweater and black loafers . She also carried a black backpack and wore her prescription glasses, completing a simple outfit with a much more polished, preppy feel.
The change wasn't about wearing a lot of eye-catching pieces, but rather replacing an item that is usually part of her game-day looks with a skirt. That alone was enough to give her arrival a different feel .
Sophie Cunningham traded dresses for a more relaxed look
Sophie often leans toward dresses and more polished outfits, but this time she went with a much more relaxed formula.
The player arrived wearing what appear to be mini shorts, an oversized white sweatshirt , black open-toe heels and sunglasses. The combination mixed very casual pieces with a dressier touch in the shoes.
The sweatshirt also featured the phrase “kick rocks,” a detail that immediately stood out against the white fabric and gave the outfit its own edge.
But the change wasn't limited to their clothes. Both players arrive at this night after important seasons in Indiana, although in very different roles.
Clark has played 38 games, all as a starter, averaging 22.7 points, 8.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 0.5 blocks per game .
Cunningham, who returned to action after missing much of last season because of a knee injury, has contributed off the bench with 8.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.6 steals per game .
Now, with the final home game about to begin and the playoffs getting closer, Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham found two very different ways to arrive for a night that marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another for Indiana Fever.
