Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham turned heads before even stepping onto the court
The two Indiana Fever players opened the postseason with a loss, but before Game 1, they had already caught attention with two completely different styles.

This Sunday, September 27, the countdown to the end of the WNBA season officially began. For the Indiana Fever , the first step was a visit to the Las Vegas Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena , where Game 1 ended with the Fever on the brink.
Las Vegas, the defending champions and No. 3 seed, defeated the Fever 102-85 to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three first-round series .
Amid that result, Caitlin Clark had a historic playoff performance , recording the first double-double of her postseason career with 15 points, 10 assists and three rebounds .
Sophie Cunningham also made her mark off the bench. In her 29 minutes on the court, she scored 13 points, going 3-for-6 from three-point range, while also adding one rebound and one steal .
With the loss in Las Vegas, the Fever must win Game 2 , which will be played Tuesday, September 29, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse , to keep their season alive.
But before any of that, they had already won with their outfits.
Caitlin brought the sporty-luxe vibe
For her arrival at the first playoff game, Clark went with a combination of gray, black and silver , taking sporty style into a much more sophisticated direction.
The standout piece was a charcoal gray bomber jacket with a slightly oversized fit, which she paired with a cropped knit cardigan featuring a V-neck and small buttons down the front. The shorter top left her midriff exposed, breaking up the jacket's more relaxed silhouette .
She completed the look with wide-leg pants in dark tones and black footwear. A silver chain and small hoop earrings finished the outfit, keeping the look away from anything over-the-top while still making it hard to miss.
It was Caitlin in playoff mode, but with a formula much closer to sporty-luxe than the uniform of a player about to step onto the court.
Sophie decided leopard was enough
Sophie Cunningham, meanwhile, arrived in a look that practically needed no introduction.
The long leopard-print coat was the centerpiece, and wearing it open revealed that the print continued onto a matching pair of shorts . Underneath, she wore a fitted black top that helped balance out the much bolder combination.
Her black strappy heels took the outfit in a completely different direction from Clark's. Sophie added a silver chain with a cross pendant and small earrings, while wearing her blonde hair down in soft waves with plenty of volume.
