Caitlin Clark couldn’t master a move but she left the internet with a gem

C aitlin Clark is known for being one of the most skilled players on the court, but one move during the FIBA Women’s World Cup showed that she does not always have every move under control. Clark is also known for having fun, especially when things go her way. Much has been said about the unity of the United States team, with the players making it clear that they are not only teammates but friends.

Team USA had plenty to celebrate

The chemistry between the players helped them secure the victory, and after a well-executed tournament , champagne had to be part of the celebration. With Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers also part of the team, the TikToks were always going to be part of the party, especially after winning gold.

Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and the rest of the championship squad popped champagne and celebrated together. While the final score was one-sided, Team USA first had to overcome a 14-point deficit in the first half. The Americans had erased most of it by halftime but still trailed by three at the break. A 30-12 run in the third quarter then removed any doubt and secured the United States’ fifth straight World Cup title.

Clark’s champagne move did not go as planned

That was when the celebration really began, with Clark joining her teammates to enjoy the victory. Reese organized the team for a TikTok that left fans with a moment to remember. T he only thing they forgot to bring was a good pair of goggles to protect themselves from the champagne.

Luckily for fans, Reese posted the video of the team celebrating, with Clark taking charge of shaking the champagne bottl e. She was so excited that t he champagne went straight into her own eyes, and the entire moment was caught on camera.

Fans and supporters quickly joined the online conversation with humorous reactions to the unfiltered celebration. Even Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, joined in by reposting the amusing footage on his social media story .
