C aitlin Clark has another big announcement for her fans, but this time it has nothing to do with basketball or her new Nike signature sneakers.

The Indiana Fever star is preparing to release her first children's picture book, and she has issued a special request to supporters ahead of its arrival.

The book, titled EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams, is scheduled to be published by Random House Books for Young Readers on Tuesday, November 3. With the release date approaching, Clark has encouraged her followers to pre-order a copy online.

“BIG NEWS! I wrote a picture book,” Clark wrote on Instagram in May. “Illustrated by @adriillustration. Available wherever books are sold on November 3rd, 2026! Pre-order your copy from @randomhousekids at the link in their bio.”

Her latest appeal was more direct, with Clark using her Instagram Story to remind fans about the upcoming release.

“Pre-order your copy from @randomhousekids at the link in their bio,” Clark wrote on her Instagram story.

The announcement highlights another side of the basketball star's growing career. While her performances with Indiana have helped establish her as one of the WNBA's biggest names, Clark is also developing projects that reach audiences beyond the sport.

Clark's book shares a message about teamwork and chasing dreams

The picture book is written in rhyming verse and explores how relationships, encouragement and perseverance contribute to achieving ambitions. Rather than focusing solely on individual success, its message centres on the importance of family, friends and teammates.

Illustrated by Adriana Predoi , the book is intended for young readers and reflects themes that have also featured throughout Clark's basketball journey.

The publisher describes it as a story about finding the extraordinary in everyday life and recognising the people who help make personal achievements possible.

The project also connects with Clark's work supporting younger generations. Through the Caitlin Clark Foundation, she has backed initiatives involving youth sports, education and nutrition.

A children's book gives her another opportunity to share a positive message with young fans who look up to her.

The timing is notable because Clark has also recently reached a major milestone in her relationship with Nike. Her first signature basketball shoe, the Caitlin 1, became available globally on October 1, marking a significant step in her commercial career.

The collection was developed around her playing style and includes apparel alongside the footwear.

Although the new sneakers have attracted considerable attention, Clark's latest social media message is focused on encouraging fans to support her literary debut.

The two projects demonstrate how her influence is expanding into different areas, from sportswear to children's publishing.

A strong season for Clark despite Indiana's playoff disappointment

Clark's off-court projects arrive after an impressive individual campaign with the Fever. Indiana finished the 2026 regular season with a 28-16 record and the sixth seed in the playoffs, but its postseason ended in a first-round series defeat against the Las Vegas Aces .

Clark nevertheless delivered strong numbers, averaging 22.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 8.3 assists across 40 regular-season appearances.

She was subsequently named to the Associated Press All-WNBA First Team, alongside teammate Kelsey Mitchell , following a season in which she ranked among the league's leading scorers and playmakers.

The campaign represented an important response after Clark missed much of the previous season through injury. Her return to form helped keep Indiana competitive, even though the team fell short of its postseason ambitions.

Now that the Fever's season is over, Clark has more time to focus on her activities away from the court. She has previously participated in golf events, including The Annika Pro-Am, while maintaining partnerships with major brands such as Nike, Gatorade and State Farm.

With EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams arriving on November 3, Clark's latest request gives supporters a new way to engage with her work.

For a player known for her impact on basketball, the book offers a different platform for sharing the values of teamwork, persistence and ambition with the next generation.
