Caitlin Clark reunites with Donna Kelce courtside and immediately embraces her as their Chiefs connection reaches Fever-Lynx game
The Indiana star immediately recognized “Mama Kelce” in the crowd and brought their friendship from the NFL’s biggest stage to the WNBA

C aitlin Clark did not need anyone to tell her that Donna Kelce was sitting courtside. As soon as the Indiana Fever star spotted the mother of Travis and Jason Kelce, she walked directly toward her and welcomed her with a warm embrace.
The moment felt less like a celebrity introduction and more like a reunion between two people who already shared a connection. Donna, affectionately known as “Mama Kelce,” smiled as Clark stopped beside her chair and took time to exchange a few words before returning to the court.
Their Chiefs connection reaches the WNBA
Donna attended the game between Indiana and the league-leading Minnesota Lynx. The Fever entered with a 27-15 record and needed a strong response in their fight for favorable playoff positioning, while Minnesota arrived at 32-10 with an opportunity to secure the No. 1 seed. Lynx rookie Olivia Miles missed the game with a left calf injury.
But Mama Kelce arrived wearing a Caitlin Clark shirt , ready to show her support and affection without hesitation. She knows exactly who she is rooting for.
Clark’s connection with the Kelce family grew from her lifelong support of the Kansas City Chiefs . Caitlin had previously watched Chiefs games from a VIP suite alongside Taylor Swift and members of the Kelce family, transforming her passion for the NFL into a genuine personal connection with some of the sport’s biggest names. Now, thanks to WNBA basketball, Donna Kelce is returning that support.
That connection became even more evident when Clark sent Chiefs head coach Andy Reid the first pair of her “Sea of Red” Nike Caitlin 1 shoes . Reid thanked her for the gesture with a heartwarming reaction in a video.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are trying to enter the WNBA playoffs in the best possible position. At the same time, the Fever’s No. 22 is debuting her Nike signature shoes and generating priceless publicity by giving them to people she believes will genuinely treasure them, including Reid and her teammates. For now, Donna Kelce is fully supporting her from the front row.
