Caitlin Clark’s first Nike shoe finds its way home as Iowa players unwrap a special delivery

Caitlin Clark’s name is back on the court at Iowa, this time on the shoes. The Hawkeyes women’s basketball team shared a video of players unboxing her first signature Nike sneakers, bringing a milestone in her professional career back to the program where she became a star.
The players reveal the bright yellow “Warning Code” Caitlin 1s and pose with their new pairs. Iowa shared the moment with a simple message: “Caitlin 1s for the crew,” thanking Nike Basketball and Clark.
Head coach Jan Jensen delivered the news during practice and hinted that the team’s collection will grow. “We’re going to get a few more colors,” she told the players.
The Caitlin 1 launched in the United States on October 1, making the delivery part of the celebration surrounding Clark’s first signature shoe. The yellow design features blue accents and her interlocking “CC” logo.
For Iowa, the connection goes beyond a new pair of sneakers. Clark led the Hawkeyes to consecutive national championship games in 2023 and 2024. Now, the next group of Iowa players gets to lace up shoes bearing the name of someone who helped transform their program.
