Caitlin Clark’s Nike Caitlin 1 launch transforms a bakery and sends fans shooting at a crane

Caitlin Clark’s first signature Nike shoe has arrived, and the celebration stretches from Indianapolis to the Philippines. The Nike Caitlin 1 launched globally on October 1, with fans getting more than a new pair of basketball shoes to mark the occasion. In Indianapolis, Long’s Bakery temporarily became “Caitlin’s Extraordinary Treats.” The walkthrough takes viewers through the entrance and into a shop transformed for Clark’s launch, with themed decorations and displays making the familiar bakery part of her big day. The second clip moves to a different celebration near Nike Fort in the Philippines. The “Caitlin 1 Crane Challenge” invites fans to attempt a shot at a hoop suspended from a crane, turning Clark’s reputation for extraordinary shooting into a challenge they can try themselves. Organizers announced the event for October 1–4 at the BHS Activity Center’s Bear Area outside Nike Fort, with sessions from 2–6 p.m. daily. Together, the clips connect a hometown celebration with an overseas basketball activation built around the same milestone. The launch also falls on a crucial day for Clark’s season. Indiana beat Las Vegas 99-89 on September 29 to tie their first-round playoff series 1-1, setting up a deciding Game 3 on October 1. While fans celebrate her first signature shoe, Clark and the Fever have a semifinal spot to fight for.
