Caitlin Clark's reaction to another cameraman starts to get on fans' nerves: “She's acting like a prima donna”

Critics question Clark after two separate incidents began circulating online

C aitlin Clark ’s latest viral WNBA moment had barely stopped circulating when an older clip resurfaced and dragged the Indiana Fever star into another round of scrutiny.

The new debate began after Indiana’s 111-91 win over the Connecticut Sun on Friday, when Clark was seen making contact with a cameraman as she walked away from a courtside interview and headed toward the locker room.

Some viewers interpreted the brief interaction as unnecessary, while others argued it was little more than an awkward moment in a crowded courtside area. Then came the resurfaced footage.

The older video, believed to be from Clark ’s injury-plagued 2025 season, showed her confronting another cameraman after his equipment appeared to come close to striking her in the face.

Clark looked visibly irritated as the cameraman appeared to explain what had happened. Taken together, the two clips were enough for critics to question Clark ’s behavior around media personnel.

“Yeah…she’s being a prima donna here. She didn’t need to go hard [expletive] to make a point to the guy,” one user wrote on X. Another called her “Insufferable.”

Resurfaced video adds more criticism

The situations are not identical. In the older clip, Clark appeared to be reacting to a camera nearly hitting her. Friday’s incident, by contrast, showed her moving past a cameraman after an interview.

That distinction has been largely lost in parts of the online reaction, where both moments have been used to make broader judgments about Clark ’s personality.

“The man is just trying to do his job. This is why no one likes her,” one social-media user wrote. Another said: “It’s called entitlement.”

The clips themselves don't provide enough context to establish what was said before or after either interaction, and there's no indication that either incident led to formal discipline.

What they do show is how quickly even minor moments involving Clark can become major talking points.

Clark continues to dominate

The irony is that the latest controversy came after one of Clark ’s best performances of the season. She scored 34 points, added 12 assists and made six three-pointers as the Fever overwhelmed Connecticut and improved to 26-14.

Clark is averaging 22.5 points and a league-leading 8.4 assists, a significant rebound after injuries limited her to only 13 games in 2025.

Indiana now heads into the FIBA Women’s World Cup break with four regular-season games remaining and a strong position in the playoff race.

That makes the contrast around Clark particularly sharp. On the floor, she is again playing like one of the WNBA’s biggest stars. Off it, almost every visible interaction is being dissected in real time.
