Indiana Fever has their backs against the wall in the playoffs, and their stars arrived like this

As Indiana tries to stay alive in the WNBA postseason, Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and Kelsey Mitchell turned the pregame into another show off the court.

Game 2 of the first round of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs is taking place Tuesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis , where Indiana Fever face the Las Vegas Aces . The defending champions entered the game with a 1-0 series lead after winning 102-85 on Sunday.

Indiana has no room for error

With the series being best-of-three, Indiana's situation is straightforward: a win keeps the Fever alive, while a loss ends their season .

The opening game also made the challenge clear. A'ja Wilson finished with 38 points and 16 rebounds, leading Las Vegas with a performance Indiana will have to find a way to contain if it wants to force a third game.

On the other side, Caitlin Clark recorded the first playoff double-double of her career with 15 points, 10 assists and three rebounds , although she struggled from the field and finished with six turnovers. Kelsey Mitchell added 12 points and three assists, while Sophie Cunningham provided a spark off the bench with 13 points and three 3-pointers , giving Indiana an offensive boost it particularly needed in the second half.

With all of that still fresh, the three arrived for Game 2 knowing there was no room to lose sight of what was at stake. But before returning to the court to try to change the direction of the series, each of them showed up in Indianapolis with a completely different style choice.

Caitlin Clark brought a ‘model off-duty’ vibe

Clark stepped completely away from basketball attire and went for a combination that blended laid-back and polished . An open sky-blue jacket over a matching top created a soft monochromatic base, while the high-waisted charcoal-gray pants gave the look a much more refined feel.

Black pointed-toe slingbacks completed the outfit. Clear-frame glasses, a silver necklace and her long, straight hair worn down kept the look simple without making it easy to overlook.

Sophie Cunningham went in the opposite direction

Cunningham took an almost completely different approach. Instead of mixing several pieces, she opted for a fitted white short-sleeve mini dress , keeping the design free of prints and letting the silhouette take center stage.

White strappy heels kept the same color palette, while small black sunglasses, understated jewelry and a black handbag added the contrast the outfit needed.

Her long blonde hair, worn down in loose waves, pushed the look even further into glamorous territory.

Kelsey Mitchell brought the 2000s back

Mitchell changed the tone once again. The Fever guard went for oversized streetwear, pairing a dark graphic sweatshirt or jacket with vintage-inspired details and extremely wide-leg pants that dominated the silhouette.

White socks and chunky sneakers leaned even further into the Y2K influence, while her sunglasses gave the outfit an unmistakably urban edge.

The pregame had its own moments, too

But between the outfits and the cameras, there was also room for something much more personal. Clark stopped to greet fans waiting for her and signed sneakers, jerseys and basketballs, creating small interactions that stood in contrast to the tension surrounding the game.
