Caitlin Clark has given Nike another reason to celebrate after producing a statistical first in WNBA history.

The Indiana Fever star followed one huge performance with another against the Connecticut Sun , becoming the first player in league history to record consecutive games with at least 30 points and 10 assists.

Nike responded almost immediately with a four-word message on X.

“How to stop@caitlinclark22,” the company wrote, linking the post to the Merriam Webster definition of “impossible.”

Nike reacts after Clark makes history

Clark's latest performance included 34 points, 12 assists, five rebounds and three steals , while she also connected on six three-pointers.

She shot 12 of 19 from the field and finished with a game-high plus-32 as Indiana strengthened its position in the standings.

The milestone was completed just five days after Clark had scored 37 points and supplied 10 assists against the Chicago Sky .

That two-game stretch also made her only the seventh player in WNBA history to record consecutive 30-point double-doubles.

Clark wasn't the only Fever player producing huge numbers against Connecticut.

Kelsey Mitchell also scored 34 points on 12 of 19 shooting, marking the fourth time this season that she and Clark have each scored at least 30 points in the same game.

That is already a single-season WNBA record.

Clark's Nike partnership takes another step

The timing of Nike's reaction was notable because Clark had only recently unveiled another version of her signature sneaker.

The Nike Caitlin 1 “Friendship Bracelet” was revealed two days before the Connecticut game, and Clark had already expressed her excitement about the design.

“Probably some of the ones that I was the most excited about,” Clark said before the game.

“Obviously I had the Kobe version, but I feel like these are even better, and it’ll come with some charms that everybody can pick and kind of make your own.”

Indiana had to recover from a 14-point deficit before taking control, closing the first half with an 18-2 run and carrying a 58-43 lead into halftime.

The win moved the Fever to 26-14 and lifted them to fourth in the standings.

Clark now turns her attention toward international duty with Team USA in Berlin, but Nike's reaction showed just how quickly another historic WNBA performance had captured attention.
