Simone Biles did not want to miss the opportunity to experience the WNBA up close and made an appearance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch the matchup between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun . The gymnast shared part of her night on social media, making her support for Clark clear.

A post with a detail that did not go unnoticed

Biles shared different moments from her visit to the arena. In one photo, she appeared holding a basketball, while another showed her outfit for the occasion, featuring a WNBA Essentials sweatshirt, black boots, a white handbag and her braids.

But a third image carried a different kind of significance.

In the photo, Clark can be seen from behind, a detail that once again highlighted the closeness and support Biles has shown toward the Indiana star on different occasions.

And while that image began drawing attention away from the court, Clark had a performance of her own waiting inside the arena that ultimately became the night's main attraction.

Caitlin Clark answered with a spectacular performance

The Indiana Fever star was one of the biggest reasons the night ended in the home team's favor.

Clark finished the game with 34 points and 12 assists in 33 minutes, recording a double-double while leading her team's offensive production . Her performance became one of the defining moments of the victory and once again showed the impact she can have when she controls the pace of the game.

Her individual performance became even more impressive considering the margin Indiana was able to build throughout the matchup.

Indiana Fever dominated from start to finish

The final score reflected Fever's superiority.

Indiana defeated the Connecticut Sun 111-91 , earning a convincing victory and closing this first stage of the season with a 26-14 record.
