Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull could cut out Caitlin Clark on potential joint venture

It hasn't quite been the stellar season some were expecting for the Indiana Fever , but they've been extremely competitive in a tough Top 8. Currently sitting in fifth place with a 28-15 record , they aren't that far off the top team in the WNBA , the Minnesota Lynx at 32-11 .

As expected, the team has been paced by their Big 3 of Caitlin Clark , Kelsey Mitchell , and Aliyah Boston . Those three have been supported by a strong cast of role players, the most notorious of which are Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull . While Monique Billings and Makayla Timpson have been key as well, the other two have a strong friendship with Clark that has spanned a couple of years now.

Cunningham, of course, has made headlines off the court with her gameday looks as well as her podcast - which has led to some unwanted negativity. Hull is a bit less out there publicly and more focused on basketball , more akin to Clark. But even Hull recently admitted that she's considered dabbling in the podcast space - just not with Clark.

Lexie Hull reveals she discussed a potential show with Sophie Cunningham

Instead, Hull seems to prefer a potential collaboration with Cunningham . While speaking to Athlon Sports , Hull mentioned that she's discussed the possibility with Cunningham, and it might happen in the future.

It’s funny, Sophie and I joked about doing something together, which would have been fun. But yeah, it’s just fun to watch her do that... Yeah, I think it’s a fun thing to do. But right now, I just don’t have the time. I enjoy being a guest on others’ [podcasts], though. It’s fun to get to go and have interesting conversations and fun conversations. And for now, I’ll stay as a guest, but maybe down the line. We’ll see.

It wouldn't surprise anyone to see Cunningham and Hull launch a joint show at some point. Clark would likely be one of their first guests; if she's even up for it.
