While doing so this week with sports talk show host Colin Cowherd , Cunningham delivered somewhat odd but also highly complimentary praise for Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles , who she says " plays like a dude ".
You really see the athleticism really changing. People can dunk. People are fast as hell and it's like Olivia Miles. She is a rookie. Like she's killing it and she literally plays like a dude and that is no disrespect. Like that is one of the highest compliments you can ever get.
Due to Cunningham's previous comments on transgender athletes, her compliment of Miles raised some eyebrows. But she meant it in the most flattering of ways: Miles is playing at a level above almost everyone else in the WNBA at the moment .
