Sophie Cunningham returns to the court, and her look reminds everyone why she’s called the WNBA’s “sex symbol”
After several weeks away from the action with Indiana Fever, the player returned just as the season enters its decisive stretch.

There was something special about seeing Sophie Cunningham back on the court with Indiana Fever. The player had not participated in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup , and her return to the team came after a break that had kept the WNBA waiting.
This time, her appearance started long before tip-off.
Sophie Cunningham arrived in Toronto in one of her most eye-catching looks
On September 18, Indiana visited the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum to resume the regular season .
Before the game, Cunningham showed up wearing formal white pants, a cropped gray top, white heels, a cross pendant necklace and her hair down . The combination had all the elements that often make her arrivals at the arena part of the conversation around her.
She didn’t need the uniform to make it clear that her return also came with a bit of style.
Then, it was time to get back to what mattered: playing.
Sophie was back in action
Cunningham came off the bench and played 20 minutes against Toronto. She finished the night with 5 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist , while Indiana put together one of its more comfortable offensive performances of the game.
The Fever won 103-85 . Kelsey Mitchell led the team with 25 points, while Caitlin Clark finished with a double-double of 15 points and 11 assists.
Now comes the most important part of the season
The game against Toronto came with Indiana already having mathematically secured its spot in the WNBA playoffs. At this point, the goal over the final games is no longer simply to make the postseason, but to determine the position in which the Fever will enter it.
Their next game is September 20 , when Indiana hosts the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The regular season will end on September 24 , with the first round of the playoffs set to begin three days later, on September 27 .
