Taylor Swift inspires Caitlin Clark’s most exclusive Nike Caitlin 1 and fans still cannot buy it
The Friendship Bracelet edition connects two of America’s biggest stars, but Nike has not announced when it will reach stores

The Nike Caitlin 1 will officially launch worldwide on October 1 for $140, but one of its most eye-catching versions could be much harder to obtain. The “Friendship Bracelet” edition was created as a tribute to Taylor Swift and the colorful tradition that emerged during her hugely successful Eras Tour.
The shoe features an off-white upper with soft pink, blue and yellow accents. Its fuzzy laces include customizable beads displaying Clark’s initials and No. 22, recreating the bracelets that Swifties exchange at concerts.
Why Taylor Swift inspired Caitlin Clark’s exclusive shoe
Clark is a devoted Taylor Swift fan. She attended two Eras Tour concerts in Indianapolis and described the show as the best she had ever seen. The friendship bracelet tradition was inspired by a lyric from Swift’s song “You’re on Your Own, Kid” and became one of the tour’s most recognizable symbols.
The admiration is mutual. Swift previously sent Clark gifts and a personal note describing the basketball star as “inspiring to watch from afar.” The two later spent time together while supporting the Kansas City Chiefs , turning their connection into something more than distant celebrity admiration.
New practice images show Clark and several Indiana Fever teammates wearing different Caitlin 1 models after she surprised them with multiple pairs. Their excitement has helped turn the unreleased sneakers into a form of organic advertising for Nike.
Clark has already worn the “Friendship Bracelet” edition during practice, but Nike has not officially confirmed a public release date for this special colorway. For now, the Taylor Swift-inspired Caitlin 1 retains the quality that makes it even more desirable: it is a shoe everyone can see but, at least for now, nobody can buy.
