Team USA is ready to tip off the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, with the players already in Germany preparing for the highly anticipated tournament.
However, the team has made two late roster changes just days before the competition begins.
A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum will miss the 2026 World Cup due to health issues, USA Basketball announced Monday.
Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen have been added to replace them, completing one of the tournament’s most closely followed rosters.
