Mike Tyson’s Trump appearance sparks fury among boxing fans

Mike Tyson is facing a different kind of fight: a backlash from fans who are questioning his political allegiance. The former heavyweight champion’s willingness to return to the ring at 58 to face Jake Paul had reinforced the affection they still held for the boxing icon.

His appearance with Trump, however, has prompted a wave of criticism online, with some fans expressing disappointment and others questioning whether the former champion deserves their continued support.

The reaction underscores how increasingly difficult it has become for prominent sports figures to separate their public personas from their political affiliations.
