Harry Kane hits the dance floor after Ballon d’Or triumph as former Tottenham teammates join the party
The Bayern Munich superstar left North London was driven in part by the pursuit of major trophies

H arry Kane has reached the summit of world soccer, and the newly crowned Ballon d’Or winner took time to celebrate in style. The Bayern Munich and England striker continued his historic night Monday at Cirque Le Soir, an exclusive nightclub in London’s Soho district, where family, friends and former Tottenham Hotspur teammates joined him to celebrate his first Ballon d’Or triumph.
Kane , 33, made history at the London Palladium by becoming the first Englishman to win the men's award since Michael Owen in 2001. After a ceremony that recognized the most successful season of his career, the striker traded the stage for the dance floor, where champagne bottles topped with sparklers welcomed the newest winner of soccer’s most prestigious individual honor.
The celebration offered a glimpse of a more relaxed side of a player known for his professionalism and relentless pursuit of goals. Video from the party showed Kane raising a glass as guests surrounded him, with his wife, Kate Goodland, and brother and agent, Charlie Kane , among those celebrating the milestone.
A night surrounded by family and familiar faces
Kane's guest list reflected the relationships he has maintained throughout his rise from Tottenham academy prospect to one of the world's leading strikers. Former Spurs teammates Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Matt Doherty were among those spotted at the nightclub. James Maddison and former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood were also reported to have joined the celebrations, bringing together several chapters of Kane's career under one roof.
The presence of his former teammates was particularly fitting. Kane spent nearly two decades with Tottenham after joining the club's youth setup at age 11, eventually becoming its all-time leading scorer before moving to Bayern Munich in 2023.
His departure from North London was driven in part by the pursuit of major trophies. At Bayern , he won the Bundesliga title and German Cup during a spectacular 2025-26 campaign, finally adding significant team silverware to his individual achievements.
Kane's wife and brother were also alongside him during the Ballon d'Or ceremony and the subsequent celebrations. His family has remained a constant presence throughout a career that has taken him from the Tottenham academy to the biggest stages in international soccer.
The season that made Kane the world's best
The celebrations followed a remarkable campaign in which Kane scored 73 goals for Bayern and England across 65 appearances, including 61 for the German club and 12 for his national team. His production helped Bayern secure a domestic treble, while England finished third at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Kane also scored 14 goals in the Champions League as Bayern reached the semifinals.
Those numbers helped Kane finish ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal in the Ballon d'Or voting . The award also made him the first Bayern player to win the men's honor since Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1981.
Kane used his acceptance speech to recognize the teammates and coaches who helped him reach the milestone. He thanked Bayern's players for pushing him to improve in training and acknowledged manager Vincent Kompany, who was unable to attend the ceremony while recovering in the hospital.
He also made a point of thanking Tottenham, the club where his professional career took shape. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without Tottenham for sure,” Kane said, reflecting on his journey from the academy to becoming one of the Premier League's most prolific scorers. He also thanked supporters of Bayern, England and Spurs, recognizing the backing he has received throughout his career.
