Cristiano Ronaldo's statement about his departure: "In due time, I will tell the truth..."
The Portuguese has confirmed it on his social media

While his private jet flies to Copenhagen and he waits in Denmark to fly to Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo issued a statement about his decision to leave the Portugal national team camp on the eve of the Nations League match against Denmark.
The statement from Cristiano Ronaldo:
After the national team's coach's press conference, and following a conversation with the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, I decided to leave the national team's training camp.
In due course I will tell all the Portuguese the truth about the reasons that led me to leave the national team to which I always devoted myself
' In due time I will tell all Portuguese people the truth about the reasons that led me to leave the National Team, to which I always devoted myself. Now is the time to wish Portugal and all my teammates, without exception, good luck".'
Despite the words of CR7, Portugal's all-time top scorer and the footballer with the most international caps, the Portuguese is not referring to a definitive farewell to the National Team... simply to this break of four Nations League matches.
Let's remember that the man from Madeira left Copenhagen's Parken just a few minutes after the conclusion of a Jorge Jesus press conference in which the national team coach had stated that there was no problem with the player.
