No matter how experienced you are as a professional soccer player, sharing the pitch with a legend can still feel surreal. That was the case for Alvaro Medrán, who had to touch Cristiano Ronaldo during Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Ettifaq just to take in the moment. Ronaldo is likely a special figure for Medrán, especially given the midfielder’s own history with Real Madrid, making the encounter even more meaningful. Cristiano appeared to notice the gesture and returned it with a pat on Medrán’s back, creating a memorable moment between the two players.
