A new episode in the conflict between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Jesus in the Portugal national team. Luis Henrique , the Portuguese coach's lawyer, has written a scathing column against the Portuguese star titled "My last dance" , in which he announces that it will be his last column in the Récord newspaper due to the media outlet's ties to the Al Nassr footballer.
"There are columns that are written with the heart and others with the conscience. This one belongs to the latter, and will most likely be the last one I sign here. Not because of anyone's imposition, but because of a purely and simply personal decision . For me, the facts are very simple: Cristiano Ronaldo is a leading shareholder of Medialivre, owner of this newspaper", he recalled.
' "Given that the captain maintains an open conflict with Jorge Jesús and, by extension, with myself, it would not be appropriate—indeed, it would be shameful—for me to continue collaborating with and receiving remuneration from a company in which he is a shareholder. Jorge Jesus's lawyer ended his column by addressing the Portuguese star directly. “ Lastly, a few words for Cristiano Ronaldo. A large part of what you have achieved for yourself, for your family and for your country has been defended and praised here, and reminded to those who had most forgotten it,” he stated.
"However, through your actions, your behavior, and your obsession with certain indicators, you achieve something that no opponent ever managed: to spoil our ability to remember all the good you have brought us.
