Neymar shares video of Messi drunk while celebrating a victory

N eymar is once again at the center of controversy after sharing a video capturing a private moment between himself, Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez. The footage stands out because it shows the Argentine in a way fans rarely, if ever, get to see him.

Many believe the Brazilian showed poor judgment by making the video public. It features the three players drunk and dancing during Barcelona's celebrations after winning the Champions League in 2015. Neymar revisited the moment in his Netflix documentary, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos , while going through videos saved on his phone.

Messi rarely finds himself in this kind of controversy

Not everyone was happy to see such a private moment shared publicly, particularly because Messi is rarely involved in scandals surrounding parties or inappropriate behavior . Some argued that if the footage had emerged at the time, the three players would have faced heavy criticism, while Barcelona's reputation could also have taken a hit because of their condition during the celebration.

Fans question the reaction to the footage

However, some fans considered the public reaction an overreaction, arguing that the video simply showed players celebrating a major achievement. From their perspective, the three had just had too much to drink, something that could happen to anyone, and were not doing anything wrong.

Still, for those who criticized the post, the main issue was not necessarily what Messi, Neymar and Suárez were doing in the video, but t he fact that Neymar chose to share such a private moment with the public.
