A moment for history in Dutch football. Ronald Koeman Jr., son of Ronald Koeman , scored a brace at the age of 31 in Telstar 2-2 Cambuur... while being the home side's goalkeeper! The footballer born in Barcelona, who is already a regular taker of penalties, is the first goalkeeper to achieve it (score a brace) in Eredivisie history.

'In a Telstar side that also features Clarence Seedorf's son (Jelani), everything became an uphill battle in the 22nd minute with Thorisson's straight red card. Even more so with the 0-2 scoreline showing on the scoreboard in the 60th minute. But the home side were awarded two penalties... and Koeman Jr. did not miss. '

The second of the shots was taken under enormous pressure as it came in the 101st minute. Back in May 2026, at the end of last season, he scored another goal from the penalty spot that was crucial in securing Telstar's survival.
