Ronaldinho lands in Italy for his presentation as Ravenna's new player
The club plays in Serie C

Ronaldinho Gaúcho landed this Thursday in Emilia-Romagna (Italy) to attend his presentation as the new Ravenna player , a Serie C team he signed for as part of a commercial strategy by the Italian club and with whom he is expected to play at least one official match .
The Brazilian star, who announced last June his return to professional football at the age of 46 with this team from northern Italy, landed at Forlì airport to be presented at the events organized by the Ravenna side on the occasion of the new season.
The club shared images on its social media of "Dinho" upon his arrival in Italy, showing the football legend making his iconic gesture , known as the "shaka," in which he raises his thumb and pinky while bending the other fingers toward the palm.
The Ballon d'Or winner and world champion with the Canarinha arrived in the Emilia-Romagna region on a flight from Milan, the team where he played for two and a half seasons, where he met with the Croatian Luka Modric, as the Brazilian himself showed on his social media.
Ronaldinho maintains a great relationship with the president, Ignazio Cipriani , an Italian businessman from the family that owns the Cipriani restaurant group, who acquired Ravenna in 2024 as a personal project and out of a strong bond with his hometown, with the aim of helping it grow.
The deal involving the legendary player has a clear international vocation and brand expansion focus, and is supported by partners such as Black Duck and by commercial agreements like the one signed with Nike.
The star is expected to play an official match with the Italian third-tier team, although the club has not yet revealed when his debut might take place.
At the player's official presentation almost two months ago, held in Miami (United States), Ronaldinho insisted that his main motivation continues to be the happiness that the ball gives him.
'"Football has always been joy for me, and I am excited to bring that spirit to Ravenna. Let the magic begin!", he said then.'
