What luxury car did Zlatan Ibrahimovic gift himself for his birthday?
Quite a fitting car for his personality.
Z latan Ibrahimovic turned 45 on October 3 and once again showed that he knows how to treat himself. The former Swedish soccer star gifted himself a machine that is already hard to ignore on its own.
It is the Ferrari F80 , one of the most special models the Maranello-based automaker has created in recent years.
Its name is directly tied to some of the most important Ferraris in history. The F80 is considered the successor to models such as the F40, Enzo and LaFerrari , carrying that legacy into a new generation of extreme-performance hybrid cars.
How much does the Ferrari F80 cost?
The official starting price of the Ferrari F80 is around $3.9 million , although the figure can rise with customization and equipment options.
That price is already enormous on its own, but the production numbers make it even clearer why the F80 belongs to such a select group of automobiles . Ferrari limited production to just 799 examples, with deliveries scheduled between 2025 and 2027.
The cars were reserved by collectors before production began, meaning this is not a Ferrari that someone can simply find and buy.
1,200 horsepower in a road car
The price is only part of the story. The F80 also takes performance to a level that seems more suited to a racetrack than a public road.
Ferrari replaced the traditional V12 with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 , paired with three electric motors. The combination produces 1,200 horsepower, while the powertrain is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
The result is brutal: the F80 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.15 seconds and reach 200 km/h in just 5.75 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h.
With that level of exclusivity and performance, the Ferrari F80 is certainly not an easy birthday gift to top. Zlatan has already set the bar pretty high for his 45th birthday, leaving one question for next October 3: what will he gift himself when he turns 46?
