Quevin Castro cause of death: former West Bromwich Albion player dies during a match in Portugal at age 25

"The Portuguese footballer Quévin Castro, former West Bromwich player , died at the age of 25 while playing in a preparatory match between his club, Real Sport Clube, from Portugal's amateur divisions, and Estrela da Amadora.
In a statement, Real Sport Club confirmed the death of its player and expressed its " deep sadness and immense sorrow " over the death of the midfielder, who throughout his brief career had come through Chelsea's youth ranks.
" Quevin Castro was much more than a player, he was an integral part of our family and has left an indelible mark on all those who knew him, both on and off the field," wrote the club from the city of Massamá, on the outskirts of Lisbon.
According to the Portuguese press, Castro felt unwell at the start of the training match against Estrela da Amadora , was treated on the pitch with a defibrillator and subsequently transferred to the hospital, where his death was confirmed.
Castro spent most of his career in English football , where he played for historic clubs such as West Bromwich Albion, Notts County and Chelsea's under-23s, and this season he had returned to Portuguese football to play for Real Sport Clube.
