Antoine Griezmann (35 years old) has scored 6 goals in 4 matches to put Orlando City in the fight for the MLS playoffs

Frenchman Antoine Griezmann scored another brace in MLS to propel Orlando City firmly into the "playoff" zone, on a midweek matchday in which Uruguayan Bruno Damiani scored a hat-trick in Philadelphia and in which the clash between Leo Messi's Inter Miami and Robert Lewandowski's Chicago Fire ended 1-1.
Griezmann brought Orlando to life with a crucial brace in the 3-2 victory earned on the field of Atlanta United, coached by Argentine manager Gerardo Martino.
The Frenchman, former Atlético de Madrid striker, has scored six goals in the last four matches played with the Florida team.
At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Frenchman equalized in the 25th minute by finishing off a low cross from Joran Gerbet and, after Colombian Iván Angulo made it 2-1, sealed his brace by blasting past the goalkeeper in a one-on-one.
Griezmann, 35, scored seven goals in his first nine MLS matches .
Orlando, which before his arrival was outside the playoff spots, now occupies sixth place in the East, with 31 points.
Messi vs Lewandowski draw in the MLS
At Chicago's Soldier Field, in front of more than 63,000 spectators, Inter Miami and the Fire drew 1-1 with goals from Lewandowski and the Brazilian Casemiro .
Lewandowski scored the stunning 1-1 with a volley in the 10th minute, and Casemiro equalized with a header in the 48th minute after a corner delivered by Leo Messi.
Casemiro has three goals for Inter Miami, while Lewandowski has seven for the Fire.
Inter Miami is second in the East, with 44 points, five more than the Fire, who are fourth.
Damiani hat trick, Nashville stumble
Among the other results, Bruno Damiani shone in Philadelphia, scoring a hat-trick against Cincinnati in his team's 5-0 win, in which a potential four-goal haul was also ruled out.
Damiani had scored three goals this season and matched that total this Wednesday against Cincinnati.
Mexican Daniel Ríos gave Montreal hope with a goal in the first half, but the Canadians were come from behind against by Charlotte, while Toronto pulled off the surprise by coming from behind and knocking off Nashville, the dominant team in the East of MLS.
