Kily González wants a ticket for Leo Messi to the Copa Libertadores: "It could excite him, let's see what happens"
The Argentine coach analyzed the possibility of Inter Miami being invited to the tournament
k ily González looks favorably on the hypothetical possibility that Inter Miami could end up playing in the Copa Libertadores , a competition that Leo Messi has not played in and, therefore, has never been able to win.
The Argentine coach of Inter Miami was asked about that possibility at the end of the match against DC United, which ended with a clear 4-0 victory for the Herons, with a Messi brace and two more goals from the Uruguayan Luis Suárez.
"Of course, we would absolutely love that, and it would be something fantastic. I think it is one of the few competitions, if not the only one, that is still missing from Leo's list of honors" , he recalled.
"And I think this ide a could also excite him, but we'll see what happens. Because, in a way, it depends on the official procedures and on whether it is possible to implement the idea or not, he recalled.'
"In any case, we are prepared for anything. As for Leo, I don't need to reiterate his status once again ," he stated.
