Paul Pogba linked with a move to MLS: What are his possible destinations?
The Frenchman is a free agent and has been linked with DC United, Inter Miami, and New York City
P aul Pogba, world champion with the France national team in 2018, could become a new MLS player in the near future.
The former Manchester United and Juventus player, who is currently a free agent after parting ways with Monaco , is attracting interest from several franchises in the American league, according to Daily Mail.
According to the English newspaper, the MLS was the most likely destination for 33-year-old Paul Pogba to continue his career after serving a doping ban before trying his luck at Monaco. Reports indicate that the French midfielder was offered to several clubs last August.
"Interest from the other side of the Atlantic is nothing new; Pogba has already held talks with DC United , while David Beckham's Inter Miami , where Lionel Messi plays, has also been linked with the midfielder in the past," Daily Mail reported.
"There have also been rumors about a new life in the Big Apple, with Pogba linked to a possible move to New York City FC. However, P ogba has not yet held concrete talks with any new suitor ," the article explained.
