Infidelity and a new romance? The unusual video that may have exposed a Manchester City player
Rúben Dias once again found himself at the center of attention because of his love life. A video posted by a German model sparked suspicions, and a detail about the location led users to start connecting the dots.
The Manchester City defender was part of a controversy involving a well-known model. A video that seemed completely harmless ended up prompting a deep investigation on social media. Users quickly found similarities between the place where the young woman appeared.
The footballer does not appear in the images. Nor is there a post in which either of the two confirms a relationship. The speculation arose for another reason: some users claim to have recognized the place.
The detail that sparked suspicion
Best, known on social media as Vally , appeared lying on a bed while recording a humorous video related to the pronunciation of words in English. The post seemed like just another one of her usual pieces of content, until some users began to notice the setting.
It was then that the comparisons began. Some users pointed out similarities between the details of the room and old images of a property linked to Dias and Maya Jama .
The comparisons went beyond the bedroom. Some users also found alleged similarities in the kitchen, the gym, and even outside the property. A photograph of Best near a Costa Coffee was interpreted as another clue, due to the existence of one of the chain’s locations close to the home.
A breakup that had already been surrounded by rumors
Dias and Maya Jama ended their relationship in April, after having bought the property shortly before last Christmas. At the time, reports mainly pointed to their professional commitments as one of the reasons for the breakup.
The separation was also accompanied by rumors of an alleged infidelity. Dias had previously been linked to Portuguese actress Daniela Melchior, although those reports never made it possible to confirm that an infidelity had existed. Could it have been the model in question?
Valentina Best is 28 years old and has a strong presence on social media. Her name had already appeared linked to the footballer in 2024.
Now, the video once again put them in the same place in conversations on social media. The difference is that this time users believe they have found a concrete clue in the setting.
So far, neither Dias nor Best has publicly confirmed that they are together. But the episode once again shows how an apparently ordinary post can end up becoming a collective investigation when the people involved are well-known figures.
