Hours before the match between Manchester City and Bournemouth, Haaland posted a video on YouTube to confirm his decision. In the video, the striker said he had planned the haircut after the World Cup and wanted a new look to start from scratch .
In the same video, Zlatan Ibrahimovic asked the City striker if he had " lost a bet " when they showed him his new hairstyle. "So now you're going to be faster, or what?" said Ibrahimovic.
'Former City manager Pep Guardiola reacted to the haircut by saying: "You're lucky to have hair. I'd love to have it! ".'
