Alonso also wanted to leave the door open to his return for the next league fixture, this Sunday against Brighton at Stamford Bridge: "Enzo is a good professional. The absence of Enzo Fernández becomes even more significant after reports from England of Manchester City's interest in the Argentine footballer. According to Sky Sports, the side managed by Enzo Maresca is considering the possibility of making an offer for Enzo before the transfer window closes, set for Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. ... and that Chelsea are willing to listen.
