Accustomed to living with media exposure from a very young age, Expósito naturally accepted the consequences of fame. "If I wanted a quiet life, away from the spotlight and from people talking about me, then I should have chosen another path" , she acknowledged.
The star of Élite also spoke about her view of love, an aspect she says she experiences intensely. "It means a lot to me" , she confessed. In that context, she explained which traits she considers essential when it comes to taking a step beyond a simple friendship.
"What I value most in a man is emotional intelligence, sensitivity, and a sense of humor; those are things that draw me in" , she stated. She also added that she appreciates someone who is aware of social reality: "Someone who is aware of what the world is like, who is not immune to the chaos and injustices around us".
"Sisterhood is the best thing we can do for one another"
The actress, who is about to premiere the film Enfrentados: Marfil on Prime Video, delved deeper into this reflection and highlighted the importance of men being capable of questioning the privileges they enjoy.
"I like it when they don't remain in that privilege, but instead take responsibility for the things we do wrong as a society and that need to change" , she said.
Those values, however, are not limited to her romantic relationships. Expósito stated that they are also qualities she admires in women. To empathy, intelligence, and a sense of humor, she adds a concept she considers essential: sisterhood . "Sisterhood is the best thing we can do for one another," the actress concluded.
